Description: Vijay Dashmi signifies the victory of good over evil. This important festival, also popularly known as Dussehra, is celebrated every year on the tenth day of Hindu calender month of Kartik. This day commemorates the victory of Prince Ram over the powerful and wicked demon king Ravana. It also marks the last day of Durga Puja. A day before the commencement of Dussehra holidays, our students recreated the characters from the popular mythology. The students along with the teachers and Principal Mr. Ashif Raza Siddiqui, performed the "Aarti". Thereafter, girl students dressed as Goddess Durga and others in the attire of Ram, Laxman and Sita recreated the magic of Ramayana. The event concluded with the burning of effigy of demon king Ravana. The entire event was organised under the supervision of the Principal and departmental secretaries with proper fire safety arrangements. Once again, we wish all the students, parents and staff members a very happy Durga Puja and Vijay Dashmi. May you all be blessed with prosperity and success.
